This is the first official day of San Diego Comic Con 2026 and as of 3:44 PM EDT according to Twitter or “X”, the famed hastag its known for #SDCC hit the Twitter Trend list at number 11 with content from Marvel, Star Trek, upcoming movies and available toys.
Already San Diego Comic Con 2026 is crowded: an estimated 70,000 fans entered the San Diego Convention Center for Preview Night, and more will come in for panels on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Some highights:

-Award-winning composer David Fleming was officially announced to be helming the game’s soundtrack.

-Lady Deathstrike was confirmed as the formidable leader of the demon-worshipping ninja cult, The Hand.
-Billionaire Bolivar Trask and his cybernetically enhanced Reavers will serve as major antagonists.
-The X-Men do not exist in this universe; the story instead features a 1960s-formed spec ops group called Team X.
